UP Fighting Maroons head coach Bo Perasol was suspended on September 29 against the Ateneo Blue Eagles for 3 matches following his ejection.
MANILA, Philippines — (UPDATE) University of the Philippines (UP) head coach Bo Perasol was granted a three-game suspension after his outburst in last Sunday’s match Fighting Maroons against Ateneo de Manila University.
In what was their final match of the first round of the UAAP Season 82, Perasol missed his cool 6:23 remaining in the third quarter and booked an official match as Jaime Rivano was recognized.
After a defensive stand on Jerson Prado, a perceived non-call on Ange Kouame proved to be Perasol’s final straw. The coach was irritated when the Bright Akhuetie UP center was evaluated in sequence with a private foul and a technical foul, forcing him to go to the bench early in the third quarter.
