Allocation of Match Points
- Each game is allocated with 2 points
- In case of a Tied Match, the Super Over will come into play
- If the match is called off or abandoned, 1 point each will be awarded to both teams
- Net Run Rate will be calculated based on Runs Conceded and Runs Scored by the teams
Number of Matches in League Stage
Each of the teams will play 10 matches in the league stage and by the end of the league stage, the top 4 teams will qualify for the Play-offs and the 02 bottom teams will be out of the tournament. Each of the six teams will face the rest of the five teams twice in the league stage of the tournament.
Play-offs of HBL PSL 9 2024
The top four teams will qualify for the Play-offs of PSL 9. A total of three matches shall be played in the play-off i.e. one Qualifier & two eliminators. The qualifier of the tournament will be played between the top two sides of the points table and the winner of the Qualifier will through to the final of the tournament.
Eliminator 1 will be played between the 3rd and 4th positioned teams of the PSL 9 points table. The winner of the Eliminator 1 and the loser of the Qualifier will face each other in the Eliminator 2 to book their berth in the final of the tournament.
The final of the tournament will be played between the winners of the Qualifier and Eliminator 2.
