Pakistan Tour 2019 in Sri Lanka: on Tuesday, Sri Lankan players arrived in Karachi to play ODI and T20 series against Pakistan. Director of international cricket operations, Zakir Khan and other PCB officials welcomed the players at Jinnah National Airport.
Sri Lankan team decided to go to Karachi’s National Stadium for the first training session on Wednesday. But now their training session and media conference has been cancelled by the Sri Lankan team. While Pakistan’s squad will continue their sessions of exercise as planned. Misbah ul Haq is going to have his meeting that the team practice at NS Karachi will follow.
Sri Lanka has been playing an ODI series in Pakistan for the first time since the 2009 attack in Lahore. In 2015, three ODIs were performed in the nation by the Zimbabwe Cricket team. International cricket has shifted back to Pakistan as a consequence of PCB attempts.
Lahiru Thirimanne from Sri Lanka is the captain of the ODI series. Dasun Shanaka is going to captain the side in the T20I series of three matches.
